The activity page in Sage Line 50 is designed to show you all the transactions that have occurred between you and your supplier or purchaser over a long period of time. To open this section you are going to need to open your company info in Sage Line 50 then navigate to Customer or Supplier and select activity at the very top of the page.
You will receive a pop up. You now have to select which customer you wish to look at do it by typing the customer account code in the box marked A/C at the top of the page. You now will have the top section filled in for you. Sage Line 50 shows you the Name, Credit arrangement, Balance and Total amount paid by customer.
The beneath section is set out into columns. The first shows you the transaction number in Sage Line 50 this is used for making corrections to details of transactions. You then have the date of the transaction, the reference details and amount. These should all be filled in when you input the data of supplier invoices, payments or customer invoices.
The O/S column shows the sums due this is handy to see the amount the customer owes you and for which invoice. Sage Line 50 then separates the payments and invoices into Debits and Credits.
At the very bottom of the pop up it shows the money owed by the customer in sections each month.
The activity starts from the first exchange with the customer permitting you to see transactions from years before.
You also have the capability to view the transaction by clicking Show details, this only works for customer invoices as Supplier invoices are batched. You are also able to print the information on the activity page by choosing Print list at the very bottom.
